Creating bespoke, sculptural lighting installations. I worked as part of a small team where precision, an eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines were key to meet the high specifications of clients such as Hugo Boss.
Due to my proficiency in these skills my contract was extended from the standard one month placement to a six month full working contract.. (www.sharonmarston.com)
July 2006 - November 2006 : Design Intern
The Little Experience, Arundel, UK
At The Little Experience I discovered my passion and flair for the design of children’s products. I designed a range of nostalgic wooden ‘build it’ toys at a range of price points for children aged between four and twelve. I was involved in the entire design process from concept generation, sketching, sketch modelling, CAD modelling and rendering and packaging design. I learned how to design a commercially viable product. A range of these products are now on sale across the UK and USA. (www.the-little-experience.com)
